What is the pirate party? Is it on every cruise? I will be sailing from NYC on 8/17/2012 with 15 other people and want to be prepared. Thank you!

    Ahoy Michelle,

You will have a Pirate Party during your August 17th sailing!  Disney Cruise Line's (DCL) Pirates In the Caribbean party is a blast!  The atmosphere throughout the ship on Pirate Night is just electric!Everyone joins in on the fun.  Many of the guests (all ages) wear costumes and everyone enjoys the Pirate games on the Deck Stage where Captain Mickey and his famous Pirate Crew are playing.

Oh, and by blast, I didn't only mean you'd have fun.  You'll get to enjoy the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks!  Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line permitted to have a fireworks display at sea.

I hope this helps Michelle.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage!
