Pirate Night, which includes Disney pals in their garb, a delicious Pirate-y themed bounty during your
rotational dining, a late-night Deck Party, and more swashbuckling fun.
Your sailing is coming up so soon, Cynthia, so let's dive right in!
My best guess is that Pirate Night will be on night three of your four-night cruise aboard the
Disney Wish, which is Nassau night. In my experience, the “Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party” starts pretty late to ensure both dinner seatings have the opportunity to see it. On my sailings, the deck party didn't begin until after 10pm. However, be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard the ship to find out the entire entertainment schedule, including showtime for the deck party on Pirate Night, as well as all the other magical activities offered on the Disney Wish. Remember, however, schedules are always subject to change.
Tip: Head up to Deck 12 on the starboard (right) side of the Disney Wish on Pirate Night for excellent views of both the deck party (from above) and the fireworks! That's my family's go-to spot!
Pirate Night is a true highlight for my family, Cynthia, so I can understand your desire to know everything about it! I will never forget our oldest son, who is usually quite reserved, dancing his heart out to close down the deck party - way past all of our bedtimes! Then my youngest kept asking, "When are the fireworks? When are the fireworks?" So, when the sky lit up over the sea, it was a magical moment for our whole family.
Buccaneers are encouraged to dress up in their finest pirate-wear on Pirate Night. Our Stateroom Host left us bandanas and eye patches, which was a very nice touch. We had ordered matching pirate-themed shirts for our group beforehand, but some Guests go all out! Do what feels most comfortable for you and yours, even if it's just a black and white striped shirt!
