    Is the Pirate and Pals Adventure Cruise taking off from The Contemporary worth the expense of about $200.00 for the family in late February 2014?

    Hi Kurt!  Ah - the million dollar question of whether or not something is 'worth it'.  I can tell you that the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage at Walt Disney World will be an unforgettable evening filled with yummy snacks (including all-you-can-eat Mickey Bars!), great photo ops with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, fun activities and stories for the kids, and a viewing spot for Wishes that can't be beat.  It really is a fun and worthwhile activity.  However, it is also pricey, so my advice whenever someone asks if the cost is worth it is, that if it fits into your budget without having to sacrifice greatly in other ways, than it would be worth it.  If you would have to seriously altar your budget, than maybe it would be best to experience this another time.

    If you do decide to book the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, Kurt, you will need to make advance reservations asap, as it does book up quickly!  You can do this by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529).  Full payment is due upon booking, but can be refunded up as long as you cancel up to 48hrs in advance.
