Hi, Frank!
I’m so glad you sailed over to planDisney with your question.
Pirate Night is one of my favorite experiences on a Disney Cruise, so I completely understand why you’d want to join the swashbuckling fun!
On
Alaskan itineraries, Pirate Night usually doesn’t make an appearance. I'm sorry! Instead, many 7‑night sailings on the
Disney Wonder feature the
Frozen Deck Party. Anna, Elsa, and the
Frozen crew take over parts of the ship, with fun activities and even a
Frozen‑themed dining experience. It may not be a night of pirate plundering, but it’s just as magical!
I actually just booked an Alaskan cruise myself, and I’m counting down the days! The idea of seeing a glacier up close feels like a once‑in‑a‑lifetime moment, and I’m hoping to spot some local wildlife along the way. Once you start exploring the Ports of Call and
Port Adventures available in Alaska, you might find you won’t even miss Pirate Night. There’s treasure everywhere you look!
If Pirate Night is a must‑do for you, take a look at sailings out of
Port Canaveral or
Fort Lauderdale. Most of those voyages include all kinds of "piratey" fun: dressing up, a themed dinner, and fireworks at sea (weather permitting). It’s a night fit for any aspiring buccaneer!
Frank, I hope you find a cruise that works best for you. No matter which itinerary you choose, you’re in for an unforgettable voyage!
Happy sailing!
Jen
