Ahoy, Aaron! Welcome aboard planDisney. Thanks so much for cruising our way with your question.
You've got a Disney Cruise on the horizon! I'm so excited for you to sail away this coming May. You are in the final 30-day countdown now and that is quite exciting! Be sure to check in for your cruise and select a Port Arrival Time. When you check-in, you'll be asked to upload recent pictures of everyone in your sailing crew taken from the shoulders up and against a blank background. You'll also need to upload photos of your passports or travel identification documents. I like to give guests a heads up about this so they can be ready when they begin the check-in process. You can check-in starting at midnight EST exactly 30 days prior to your sail date.
Now, to your question! Yes, you can expect those pesky pirates to be swarming the waters around your Disney Cruise. We are seeing buccaneers onboard most 4-night itineraries and your cruise is no exception. Pack some pirate garb if you'd like to dress up for the occasion! Recent Pirate Nights have included a special "Pirates in the Caribbean" themed meal with entertainment during dinner as well as pirate-themed activities throughout the day. Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while onboard the ship to see what activities and entertainment are scheduled for the occasion. The Pirate Night deck party has not yet returned to the sailing schedules, but there is plenty of swashbuckling fun to be had. And you never know, the deck party may return in time for your cruise. You can keep an eye on the
Updated Experiences section of the Disney Cruise Line website to know what to expect when it's time to set sail.
I hope you party hard with those pirates and have an amazing time with the Disney Cruise Line! Sail back to us again if you have any more questions. My pals and I are eager to help!
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
