Will there be a Pirate Night on the Very Merrytime Cruise sailing from San Diego on Nov 29, 2026? Is there any other special event for which we would want to pack clothes and accessories? Thank you.

Ahoy, Sheryl, and welcome to planDisney! A Disney cruise is so much fun, especially with added holiday theming. Let's make sure you've got everything you need for your Very Merrytime cruise.

I have good news: Your 5-night cruise is packed with excitement, including a holiday party and the swashbuckling fun of Pirate Night!

For Pirate Night, you can look forward to a deck party, themed activities, a special dinner menu, and even fireworks (weather permitting). You're free to dress up – just keep the costume guidelines in mind.

Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party will take place on a different night and celebrate the joy of the season with music, dancing, and more. You can dress up if you'd like! You can pack something dressy, festive, or both.

Make sure you have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded onto your phone. Once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi, the app will update with all the details you need to know, including the timing and location of deck parties, Character meet-and-greets, and more.

As for what else to pack, I'd suggest bringing festive accessories like holiday Ear Headbands and an "ugly" sweater. Matching pajamas make for a great photo, too! If you're planning to dine at Palo, an adult-exclusive restaurant on the Disney Wonder, bring a nice outfit, since formal, semi-formal, or polished dress-casual attire is encouraged.

If you haven't already, check out the onboard gifts you can purchase in advance. Enter your reservation number to see the available products. There may even be holiday-themed decor that you can get for your stateroom.

Are you getting so excited for your time aboard the Disney Wonder? This ship has a special place in my heart. It's so cozy, and I love the theming of the restaurants and lounges. Make sure to warm up with a fresh beignet from the French Quarter Lounge – bonus points if you're able to enjoy it inside the streetcar!

Sheryl, please let us know if you think of any other questions as you wait for embarkation day. You'll be enjoying expansive ocean views and holiday fun in no time.

    Smooth sailing ahead!
