Ahoy there, Shane!
Welcome back to planDisney! Pirates, spooktacular Disney pals, and
the Disney Wonder sailing the Mexican Riviera—I can’t think of a more ghoul-icious way to spend October than mixing pumpkins and pirate flags on the high seas!
Now, let’s start with the tricky part before we get to the treats. Since this itinerary was just released, the entertainment schedule hasn’t been finalized yet, so we don’t know exactly which theme nights will be offered—or on which days. Entertainment schedules are usually set closer to about 130 days prior to sailing (though sometimes earlier or later), so we’ll need to wait until then for the official reveal.
Here’s the magical news: your voyage is already designated as a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing, which means you can count on festive fun like Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, trick-or-treating, eerie décor, and plenty of spelltacular surprises. You’ll definitely want to
bring along costumes! My family and I love creating themed costumes together. Whether you decide on elaborate ensembles, matching shirts, or just a sprinkle of Halloween flair, you’ll fit right in with the festivities.
As for
Pirate Night—while I can’t promise it just yet, the odds are as strong as Captain Hook’s obsession with finding Peter Pan. Historically, the Mexican Riviera itineraries on the Wonder almost always include it. The exact day can be a bit of a mystery until you’re closer to sailing, but here’s a helpful trick: once your
activity booking window opens, check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the “Pirate-Themed Makeover” under the “My Plans” section. The day you see that experience offered is generally the scheduled Pirate Night.
I hope this helps you get ready to plan costumes worthy of both Captain Jack Sparrow and Jack Skellington! With a sailing like this, your crew’s adventure is bound to be a tale where pirates meet pumpkins and magic takes the helm.
Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
Dustin
