Hello, Robyn! Ahoy! Welcome to the planning party at planDisney. My pals and I are glad to have you here with us.
It sounds like you are planning for fun and adventure on the high seas. I'm happy to report that most Disney Cruise Line itineraries 4-nights or longer that sail in the pirate-infested waters of the Caribbean include a
Pirate Night celebration onboard. Entertainment options are subject to change at any time, but it is highly likely you'll be having a rollicking good time at a buccaneer bash.
Lots of guests like to dress in their pirate finery, but if you look at your wardrobe and find it lacking, you can always swing by the shops onboard for some pirate accessories to complete your look. And if dressing up isn't your thing, you can enjoy some entertaining people-watching and keep an eye out for Disney Characters in their scallywag style.
Pirate Nights end in fireworks at sea! Head to the upper deck about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled deck party for the evening to snag a spot with a great view. My family likes to be near the railing on the deck above the stage and on the starboard side of the ship. If you have a stateroom with a verandah on a higher deck on the starboard side of the ship, it's likely you'll have a view of the fireworks from your window as well.
Enjoy the sparkly treasure in the sky, and I hope you treasure the memories you make onboard with your sailing crew. Swim back to planDisney any time you have more questions. We'd be thrilled to help!
