Ahoy, Daisy!
Welcome aboard planDisney! With your magical Mediterranean adventure just around the corner, I can practically hear the ship's horn playing “When You Wish Upon a Star” as you pack your suitcase! Let’s get you ready to dress to impress—and maybe even plunder a bit o’ pirate gold—on your 7-night
sailing aboard the Fantasy!
Now, let’s dig into your themed nights and dinner attire. First and foremost, themed nights are always optional, and schedules can shift slightly, so be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for the final lineup. That said, here’s your current treasure map for the week:
Day 2 (At Sea) –
Formal NightThis is your “Be Our Guest” moment! Whether you love dressing to the nines or just adding a little extra sparkle to your step, formal night is a great opportunity to snap some gorgeous family photos and mingle with the ship’s officers. You may even find complimentary bubbly flowing at a welcome reception before dinner—just say “cheers” to that!
Day 4 (Civitavecchia) – Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party
This isn’t a traditional themed night, but it is an all-out celebration that turns the deck into a swirl of music, dancing, and color! My family experienced this high-energy bash on the Treasure and had an absolute blast—it’s a great chance to burn off that extra serving of chicken tenders from Cabanas.
Day 6 (Palermo) –
Pirate NightYo ho, yo ho—it’s a pirate’s life for you! Get ready for swashbuckling fun, themed menus, and buccaneer-approved entertainment. While local regulations prevent fireworks on this itinerary, the atmosphere still shimmers with magic. My crew usually rocks matching pirate shirts (bonus: they pack light!), but anything from full pirate cosplay to cruise casual works perfectly.
Day 7 (At Sea) – Semi-Formal Night
Think of this as the “Goldilocks” of themed nights—not too fancy, not too casual, juuust right. It’s your last evening onboard, and a wonderful time to soak in the magic before disembarkation.
As for dining rotations, those will be finalized once you're onboard and visible in the Navigator app. If you have preferences—like dining in a specific restaurant on a certain night or requesting a beloved server—you can
call Disney Cruise Line ahead of time and they’ll do their best to sprinkle a little magic.
I hope this helps as you count down to an incredible journey across the Mediterranean! Please feel free to sail back my way with any more questions—it’s always a pleasure to help a fellow adventurer prepare for their next voyage.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
