Ahoy, Cathy!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’re charting the final course for your upcoming voyage on
the dazzling Disney Wish—and what a wish come true that will be! I can already tell you’re planning to make the most of every magical moment, from embarkation to the final farewell.
Let’s start by tackling your first question about where your adventure will begin. As of now, the Wish
sails from Terminal 10 at Port Canaveral for both embarkation and debarkation. Disney Cruise Line will send an email if there are any changes to your assigned terminal before your sailing, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox as your embarkation day draws near. If you’re driving to the port, rest assured—Disney does a great job with signage along the way, making it as easy as following the second star to the right to find your way to the ship.
Now, onto the question that really shivers me timbers—Pirate Night! For your sailing, the current schedule shows Pirate Night on Day 2, during your day in Nassau. And here’s where it gets extra magical—you’ll also have
Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party on the same evening! It’s truly a decked-out double feature of fun. Typically, your day will feature pirate-themed games, crafts, and activities sprinkled throughout, followed by a festive holiday celebration between the two dining times. Then, when the stars twinkle over the ocean (usually around 10 PM), you can look forward to
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party capped off with fireworks at sea (weather permitting, of course—even pirates can’t control the wind!).
Since this is a shorter 3-night itinerary, one thing to keep in mind is that the special pirate-themed dinner menu isn’t usually offered. This ensures every Guest gets to experience all three of the spectacular rotational dining rooms—and trust me, you won’t want to miss the frosty fun of
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure or the cinematic magic of
Worlds of Marvel.
To confirm all your showtimes, dining details, and event locations, you’ll want to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard. The app becomes your enchanted map at sea, helping you plan your days and discover hidden gems like character meet-and-greets, trivia, and those surprise Disney touches that seem to pop up around every corner.
I hope this helps as you get ready to embark on your own happily-ever-after at sea! Wishing your family a voyage filled with high-seas adventure, holiday cheer, and just enough pixie dust to last until your next sailing.
Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
Dustin
