Ahoy, Raquel!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Ye be speakin’ my language—Pirate Night is one of me favorite nights on the high seas, and I’m thrilled to help ye chart a course for adventure
aboard the Disney Wish!
Aye, on your August sailing, ye can absolutely expect to encounter all the swashbucklin’
fun of Pirate Night! On your 3-night itinerary, Pirate Night makes land on the second night of the voyage—right when you’ve found your sea legs and are ready to channel your inner Captain Jack Sparrow. While entertainment schedules are always subject to change, this is the day you’ll see fellow buccaneers donning their finest pirate garb and heading to the upper decks for a raucous celebration under the stars—complete with music, mayhem, and yes... fireworks (weather permitting) that would make Tinker Bell herself pause mid-flight.
Now, one little treasure I like to share with savvy sailors: on 3-night cruises, the pirate-themed dinner menu is usually skipped. That’s because Disney wants every Guest to enjoy the unique magic of all three main dining rooms—
1923,
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, and
Worlds of Marvel. So instead of a pirate menu, you’ll still dine in the regularly scheduled restaurant rotation (with all its immersive theming and showstopping moments), just with a hearty helping of pirate-themed entertainment happening ship-wide that day. It’s a win-win, if ye ask me!
I hope this helps you get ready for a swashbucklin’ good time aboard the Wish! May your countdown to August be filled with buried treasures, Dole Whip dreams, and maybe a Stitch pirate plush or two. Sailin’ off for now, but I’ll be right here if you need help navigating the waters again—just whistle like Peter Pan and I’ll be there faster than you can say “Dead men tell no tales!”
Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
Dustin
