Ahoy to you, Donalyn! Thanks for cruising on over to the planDisney panel, where my pals and I are happy to have you with us.
When ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet set sail through the pirate-infested waters of the Caribbean on itineraries four nights or longer, you can expect to encounter boisterous buccaneers onboard! If you'd like to join in with the merry-making, pirate wardrobes are optional but encouraged. It's definitely a fun photo opportunity to don your pirate best and join in with your favorite Disney characters in their festive attire.
Pirate Night isn't just about dressing up. You'll see a range of pirate-themed activities to take part in throughout the day. Once onboard, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will point you in the direction of all the entertainment offerings. At dinner, a special pirate menu will be served. And for those who are up for a party, you can take part in a deck party in the evening (weather permitting). The party concludes with some sparkling treasure in the sky!
I hope that helps you get excited about what is to come with your vacation plans. If you are like me and can't get enough of cruising with Captains Minnie and Mickey, you can book a placeholder for a future cruise while you are onboard through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. When you return home, the placeholder can be used towards a discount for a future sailing within 24 months of the date it was booked.
