Ahoy, Sherylyn!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’ve set your course for an unforgettable late-summer
adventure on the Fantasy—four magical nights sailing from Southampton to Spain! With
ports like Bilbao on your horizon and all the high-seas fun onboard, I can see why you’re already curious about whether Pirate Night will be making an appearance on your itinerary. After all, nothing says “Disney Cruise Line” quite like trading your sea legs for peg legs—at least for one swashbuckling evening!
You’ll be glad to know that
Pirate Night is indeed on the horizon! As of now, it’s planned for Day 3 (Bilbao), so be sure to pack your best swashbuckling attire—whether you go full Elizabeth Swann or keep it simple with a bandana and “ARRR”-mazing grin. While there won’t be fireworks that night due to local laws and regulations (some ports don’t allow them—those pesky landlubber rules!), you can still expect the ship to come alive with pirate-themed fun, from deck parties to character meet-and-greets that would make even Jack Sparrow jealous.
On my own adventures, I’ve learned that even without fireworks, Pirate Night is a treasure worth keeping in your memory chest. The energy, the costumes, and the sea of fellow “pirates” make the night sparkle just as brightly!
I hope this helps you set your compass for a night of high-seas hijinks and swashbuckling style, even without the cannon-blast of fireworks. May your cruise be filled with “yo-ho-ho” laughter, loot-worthy memories, and just enough mischief to keep you out of Davy Jones’ Locker.
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
