Hello, Debbie!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. Sailing on the Disney Cruise Line over Christmas sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays! I sailed on a
Very Merrytime Cruise with my planDisney friends last year, and I adored seeing the festive touches throughout the ship.
A few Disney Cruises depart from Port Canaveral towards the end of December and sail over Christmas. I checked the itineraries over this time period for the
Disney Wish and
Disney Fantasy, both of which are sailing on Very Merrytime Cruises over Christmas. I have good news! Both ships currently have a
Pirate Night scheduled during their voyages over Christmas! Schedules are subject to change, and I recommend checking the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after boarding the ship for an up-to-date itinerary.
Since you said your arrival date is December 22, 2024, I am guessing that you are sailing on the Disney Fantasy's sailing that day. Below is the attire schedule for that voyage at this time (as a reminder, schedules are subject to change):
- Sunday - Port Canaveral - casual
- Monday - Disney Castaway Cay - Pirate Night
- Tuesday - Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point - optional dress-up
- Wednesday - at sea - optional dress-up and Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party
- Thursday - Port Canaveral - disembark
Pirate Night is always a highlight of my family's Disney Cruises! We love interacting with Guests dressed in their "pirate best!" One year, we sailed with extended family and chose a Peter Pan theme, with Grandpa leading the charge as Captain Hook. It was so much fun!
Debbie, I hope your voyage is filled with joy and laughter! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
