Ahoy there Lisa! Welcome aboard planDisney!
Ah, leaving from the Big Apple and arriving in San Juan - with a few Eastern Caribbean stops in-between - I can think of few itineraries that make so much out of just 7-nights! I love
itineraries like these because they usually offer the perfect mix of sea days and port days! The
Disney Magic looks incredible sailing out of New York Harbor, and getting the opportunity to ride the
AquaDunk while sailing by the Statue of Liberty? That's pretty legendary in my book!
One-way itineraries are some of my family's favorites because they almost always offer a unique way to experience the amazing entertainment, onboard fun, and the magic we've all come to expect from our Disney Cruise Line vacations!
When it comes to the specifics of your cruise, I know in previous years, this itinerary has included a
Pirate Night on one of the sea days, so I'd expect this year to have the same! With the recent return of the Buccaneer Bash Deck Party, the pirates have returned to their old tricks, so keep a weather eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to find out exactly when to expect them!
And speaking of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, that's also the best way to find out exactly when your
Halloween on the High Seas activities are scheduled! With your embarkation happening on Halloween itself, I'm not sure exactly when you can expect activities like the Mickey's Mouse-querade, ghost stories, and more, but as soon as you step aboard, your Navigator app will be updated with the entire shipboard schedule!
I hope that gives you a heading as you plot the final coordinates on your vacation, Lisa! Thank you so much for your question, and if you encounter any hitchhiking ghosts...er...questions, you know where to find me here at planDisney!
Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
