Ahoy, Kelly. Thanks for your question. I'm so excited because this December will be my first Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. We always watch fireworks from inside the Magic Kingdom, so we decided to do something a little different this time around. I'm probably more excited than my 5-year-old son. My first line of business is to call Captain Hook a codfish and challenge him to a sword-fight all while making tick-tock noises.
As mentioned on the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage page, from November through May the cruises operate every night except Wednesdays, and from June through October the cruises operate every night except Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please be aware that cruises can be cancelled due to inclement weather. When I made reservations the Cast Member informed me that lightning was considered inclement weather, but that they will still sail in the rain and cold.
Also, you will want to double check the sign-in time when you schedule your cruise. You will sign in for the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage an hour and 15 minutes before Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled for that night. The fireworks show each night at different times throughout the week so make note of what time you will have to be at Disney's Contemporary Resort for check-in. Even though the website says 9:30-11:00, I will have to sign-in at 8:15 pm because fireworks are scheduled the night of my fireworks voyage for 9:30 pm.
If you need anything else, please stop back in and see us! Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation.
