does pin trading still happen at Disney?

    Hi Douglas,

Thanks for stopping by with your question. I have great news for you! Pin trading is still alive and well at Walt Disney World Resort. You will find individual pins, collector sets, pin lanyards and sometimes even special edition pins available at many of the merchandise locations. You will also find cast members with their lanyards or pin pouches ready to trade with you or others in your travel party. This provides a fun way to interact with the cast members as you venture around the parks and attractions.

Keep in mind there are certain "etiquette rules" to pin trading. In order to trade, the pins must have the official Disney copyright on the backside of the pin. If you would like to trade a pin, don't just grab at the other person's lanyard, simply let the person know which one you are interested in so they can bring it closer to your for a better view. Lastly, the pin you trade with a cast member cannot be the same as one that is already on their lanyard or pouch.

    I hope you have fun!
