To do the pin trading do you buy the pins first? How many should we buy to start?

    Hi, Scott!

Pin trading is so much fun!  Pins can be purchased at any gift shop at Walt Disney World.  I think the best selection is at Pin Traders in Downtown Disney.  The choices never seem to end!

You will want to start with a lanyard and a few pins.  You can buy each of these separately or they even sell "starter kits" with all the basics for a rookie pinner!  When you see a Cast Member with a lanyard of pins, you can trade with them, or you can keep your own and keep adding your collection for souvenirs.

Click HERE for more information on Pin Trading.  I will warn you - once you start with a few of these fun pins, you are going to want MORE!   Have fun buying, pinning, and trading!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
