Greetings, Laura! I’m delighted to see you again and happy you find planDisney to be a helpful resource.
Crew pin trading is a beloved activity still missing from the ships. I’m hopeful it returns before your sailing, but there’s no reason why you can’t trade pins with fellow guests. While exploring the ship, I frequently see pin-trading boards hanging outside stateroom doors. Guests select a pin they like and leave one behind – easy peasy!
While pin-trading has changed a little, the magic is still there. You’ll find at least one mystery pin-trading box onboard. Guests select a number and trade for the Disney pin in the numbered drawer. If you like the pin, you can complete your trade. If not, you can choose a second mystery drawer. We found this special box in one of the merchandise shops on our last sailing. The shops also have a variety of pins available to purchase. I recommend asking about itinerary-exclusive pins. I hope you find the perfect one to add to your collection.
If I remember correctly, you’re sailing from
Southampton on the 7-Night British Isles Cruise. The
Disney Parks Blog recently shared information about a brand-new deck party with a 90s vibe heading your way. Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party is exclusive to the Disney Dream. Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the details when you board the ship; as always, entertainment is subject to change.
Laura, please stop by and see us anytime. We love chatting with Guests about Disney Cruise Line!
