    what is pin trading?

    Hi Ashley!

Thanks for coming back to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.  Pin Trading is so much fun!  I started Pin Trading with my daughter to help her with her shyness, and we are now both addicted!

The process of pin trading is actually quite simple.  All you need to do is purchase a starter set of pins and a lanyard to keep them secure.  Lanyards and pins can be purchased throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  From there, when you see a Cast Member wearing a lanyard, ask to see their pins and if there is one you like, offer the Cast Member one of your pins in exchange!  It's really a Win-Win situation; you get to choose the pin you would like from the Cast Member, and the pin you are going to give in exchange.  Many stores will have a book of pins available for trading, so don't be shy, ask a Cast Member to take a look, you never know what treasures you will find.

I hope that helps Ashley.  If you have anymore questions, please let me know.  I would be happy to help.
