Hey Cindy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are thrilled to receive another one of your excellent questions! I hope I can help answer your question about
MagicBands to the best of my ability.
Cindy, you will self-select a personal identification number, or PIN, upon check-in to your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You will be given a small numeric keypad with which to choose your 4-digit PIN.
This PIN will uniquely identify you while
making purchases with your MagicBand. You should never write your PIN on your MagicBand. If you lose your MagicBand, no one will be able to use it to make unauthorized purchases unless they have your PIN. You should never share your PIN.
Did you know that it is possible to have
multiple “active” MagicBands associated to your My Disney Experience account? As a MagicBand collector myself, I keep at least 10 "active" MagicBands in my account at all times. I love to mix and match them according to my outfit of the day! The same PIN applies to all of my MagicBands and they all share the same tickets, reservations and entitlements. If you plan on carrying more than one MagicBand, you will only have to set one PIN.
Cindy, I hope I have helped answer your question. If you have any additional questions or want to know more about MagicBands, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again.
