Can you still get pictures taken from the photographer in the parks if you don’t buy Memory packages

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheila!

This is a great question! There’s nothing worse than spending time struggling to take the perfect selfie or flagging down other guests to take your picture.

Last Summer I was in-between purchasing Memory Maker and I actually wish our family would have pre-purchased the package. Fast forward to a trip that I took in December and Memory Maker was officially added to our plans… and let me tell you, we used it a lot! However, we did on occasion ask the photographer to take a photo of us with our cellphone as well, and they were happy to do so. My guess is that this is offered on a case-by-case basis, so I would invite you to ask the individual Cast Members.

I will tell you, using Memory Maker for the first time was very handy and we received a lot of attraction based photos (and videos) that we otherwise never would have had. Just knowing that the photos were being taken by a professional and that we had unlimited digital downloads was really convenient.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
