    Is Picnic in the Park still available as a dining option in Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Clarissa!

    Animal Kingdom is one of my children's favorite parks and The Picnic in the Park was a great way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you refuel for the rest of your day.  It was offered as a Dining Plan option where it could be picked up at Beastly Bazaar.  Beastly Bazaar was closed August of 2012 to make room for a new character meet and great location that was scheduled to open late 2012.  There has been no word if it will be offered again anytime in the future.  Not to worry though,  Animal Kingdom has some other really good locations to grab lunch that are also a good value.  Flame Tree Barbecue offers good value and delicious food.  You are also welcome to bring your own food into the park, just be aware that you cannot have anything with straws, even juice boxes, it can potentially be dangerous to the animals.
