Are there any picnic areas in each of the parks for our use if we decide to bring a picnic lunch to the park?

    Hi, Debora!

While there are no designated picnic areas within the Walt Disney World theme parks, you are welcome to pack your lunch and enjoy it in the parks.  Feel free to find a shady park bench, an outdoor seating area with tables and chairs, or even pop into a Quick Service location if you want to enjoy some air conditioned comfort.

When packing your goodies, remember that there are some prohibited items such as alcoholic beverages or glass bottles. Please also avoid large coolers or any type of coolers with wheels.  I suggest a small, soft sided cooler. Lockers are available at the entrance to each park if you would like to store your picnic until you are ready to eat.

To keep your lunch tote lighter, you are welcome to order complimentary cups of ice water at any Quick Service location. Quick service locations will also have napkins, forks, knives, and condiments. Just a few things you do not have to worry about packing.

Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch as you soak in all the magic of the Walt Disney World theme parks!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
