Are there any picnic areas in the Disney World parks?

    Hi, Jeremiah!

While there are no designated picnic areas within the theme parks, you are welcome to bring in food, drinks, and snacks. Just a few rules that Mickey Mouse has about bringing in refreshments:
    -Only small, soft sided coolers
    -No glass bottles or containers
    -No alcoholic beverages
-You must stop at bag check for security to screen any bags you bring into the park, including those with food items

You are welcome to enjoy your snacks while relaxing on a bench, at a Quick Service location, or a nice shady spot that you might find. Remember that cups of ice water are complimentary at Quick Service locations, so you can lighten your load by not over packing water bottles.

Enjoy your picnic while visiting Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
