I have a VERY picky 4 yr old eater ( PB&J sandwiches are about all) and it kills me to have to pay $11-$16(depending on restaurant) at a buffet for him when I KNOW he won't eat a thing! Any suggestions? Is there anyway around this?

    Hi Lisa Marie!

My two boys are fairly light eaters, so I can sympathize with you--combined they probably only eat as much as a regular 4 year old, yet we still pay the same price for their meals.  Keep in mind, with buffet-style meals you are generally paying for access to the characters and/or a unique dining experience.  In these cases, it's not all about the food, but the atmosphere as well!

I'd consider getting away with PB&Js for most meals an even trade with having to occasionally pay for a buffet meal, as the pricing structure for all buffet-style meals are based on age.  If you want to minimize that cost, then I would look into booking fewer buffet-style meals.

    Have a magical vacation!
