I have some picky eaters, and after looking at some of the menus at table service restaurants, can older kids order off the kids menu even if it says for children 9 years and younger?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, MarryAnn!

I can tell you from first hand experience that your children will be able to order off of the children's menu. While it states it is for guests ten and under, most servers will not turn you down should your older children prefer to order from the children's menu at table service or counter service restaurants.

The meal locations in which your child's meal will be determined by age and priced accordingly, will be at all buffet, or dinner show dining locations.

For example, Chef Mickey's Fun Time Buffet will charge a child over the age of ten the adult price - even though your child may choose items from the buffet that are designed for younger children in mind. Fun thing is, you could choose these items off the buffet, too! But, if you're enjoying dinner at a table service restaurant like Sanaa, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, they will allow you to order from the children's menu.

I hope that helps, MarryAnn! Please let me know if you should have any additional Disney dining questions. I am here to help!
