I have a picky eater and she doesn't eat much, can she order off the children's menu even though she is older than 9? She was able to do so at WDW, but we had dining plans and had paid for adult dining for her so it didn't matter there -

Hello, Margaret, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We've got a few picky eaters in our family as well. One daughter would be perfectly content with just hot dogs from Refreshment Corner and Kids' Power Pack meals available from many quick service restaurants throughout the Disneyland Resort. She has similar tastes when dining at table service restaurants as well. But, I'm happy to report that older guests are welcome to order from the kids' menus of most restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. For some restaurants, including some at the Downtown Disney District, individual policies may vary. So, in some cases it would be good to check with your server or the hosts of the restaurant. Also, note that prix fixe meals, including buffets and special dining packages, will require that guests pay the regular prices for their respective ages.

Speaking of dining, you'll also want to make sure that you download the Disneyland app to your mobile device. Within the app, you can browse restaurant menus, make dining reservations, and even place mobile orders at select quick service restaurants. It is a great time-saver!

    Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day, Margaret!
