Welcome to planDisney, Katrina!
Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. I'm always looking for ways to save money when I plan a Disney vacation. Ordering off the kids' menu is a great way to do that. Oftentimes, the portion sizes are more than enough for an adult. Usually, I'll even split a kid's meal between my two Mouseketeers.
Katrina, although restaurants often have their own policies, most
Disneyland Resort restaurants are very accommodating and sometimes allow adults to order from the kids' menus. I've never done this at Blue Bayou Restaurant specifically. I've spoken to Cast Members about this issue and here's what they recommend you do: When you arrive at
Blue Bayou Restaurant, ask a Cast Member when you check in and they'll be able to let you know if ordering from the kids' menu is allowed. I'm sorry I don't have a more definitive answer to your question, Katrina. Even so, I trust you'll have a great experience at this restaurant. The location (I mean, it's inside the
Pirates of the Caribbean ride!), the ambiance, the décor, the music, the food, it's all so good. My personal recommendation would be the Monte Cristo sandwich! Mmmmm... now I'm all rumbly in my tumbly.
Have a great time, Katrina! See ya real soon.
