Hello, Christina. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I think you'll be happy to know that as long as you follow a
few guidelines, you are more than welcome to bring in outside food and beverages into the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When you are packing your snack bag each day make sure that there is nothing in glass containers. The exception to this rule are a few small jars of baby food but nothing else. Also, there won't be a place for you to heat anything up throughout the day except for at your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, so make sure you're only packing room temperature or cold food items. Keep in mind that as of May 1st, 2019 the
Park Rules have been updated to state that loose ice in your bag is no longer permitted. I suggest packing the reusable gel packs to keep your snacks and drinks cold. If you are packing for yourself, be sure to leave the alcoholic beverages in your resort room fridge because outside alcohol is also not allowed into the Theme Parks.
When my daughter was little, she was also very picky. I found that packing small bites helped to keep her fed throughout the day but also distracted as we waited in line for attractions. Finger foods like small cheese crackers, graham crackers, grapes, carrots and string cheese were always a big hit with her and easy to pack. Things like that also aren't messy so I wasn't constantly cleaning up little hands and faces either. Baby wipes would also be a great item to throw in your bag in case of messes while you are waiting in line so you don't have to lose your spot.
I hope this helps Christina. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
