Hi, Lisa!
I completely identify with your situation. My kiddos are also very picky eaters. My son is the kid who passes up all of the mouthwatering food served at 'Ohana and makes a special request for chicken fingers. The good news is that Walt Disney World restaurants are excellent at accommodating all types of dietary needs. Whether a guest has a food allergy, eats a vegan diet, or is simply a kid who lives strictly on chicken nuggets and pasta, you can be sure that your dining needs will be met. I have found that if you speak with the cast members at Walt Disney World dining locations, they will be more than happy to assist you in finding something that appeals to even the pickiest of eaters.
You can find an
overview of the various Disney Dining Plans on the Walt Disney World website. This may give you a better idea of what types of items are included with the dining plan that your family has selected. The website also has links to menus for individual
restaurants and dining locations all over the Walt Disney World theme parks and resort hotels. I always view the online menus when I'm deciding on advanced dining reservations for my family.
In addition to the meal entitlements included with your Disney Dining Plan, you will also have snack entitlements. While in the theme parks, take a look at the menus posted at food locations. They will have a small icon next to items that qualify as snacks on the Disney Dining Plan. I find that many of these items are very kid-friendly. My picky eaters particularly enjoy snacking on Mickey-shaped ice cream bars and pretzels!
Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a magical day!
