Hi Michael! My family loves all of the fireworks cruises and we try to do one each year during a visit to Walt Disney World.
The
Specialty Cruises will include pick-up at the marina of your choice when available, snacks and drinks, captain of course, and a 30 minute tour of the waters and finally the fireworks showing from the water.
The pick-up time will be about 40 minutes before the fireworks time that evening. You need to give yourself a little time to come earlier to check in and pay.
Approximate costs for the Wishes Fireworks cruises is about $300 for the 8 person pontoon boats and $350 for the ten person boats. Illuminations is about $325.
Pontoon boats are large enough for wheelchairs to fit through the entry and most marinas this is possible from the docks. It is confusing as to whether they will allow you to stay in the chair or transfer you to a boat seat for the trip. After several calls and different answers I know you can get there and get on with a chair but unable to verify about staying in a chair.
When reserving a boat from the Grand Floridian make sure they know you are looking about accessibility options.
