    We picked a special place for a meal for each of our kids. If I let the host/hostess know at a restaurant what we are celebrating (youngest DD's birthday, middle DD's 5 year cancer free, and DS's awesome grades) will they do anything special for the kids?

    Hello Elizabeth!  WOW...I can tell you have been blessed with three incredible kids!!!  The answer to your question is a BIG YES!!  The Cast Members at each restaurant love doing special things for kids of any age.  While you can definitely let them know of your special moment when you arrive at the restaurant, it would be great to go ahead and call Disney Dining reservations at 407-WDW-DINE and let them know ahead of time.  If you give a restaurant enough notice, they can be ready for something special.  When we celebrated our son's birthday last year, he received a special ice cream sundae and a Mickey balloon!  He absolutely loved it!

    You can also request a 6'' non-personalized cake upon arrival at your restaurant for $21.  Or, you can order a personalized cake for each of your children by calling the "Cake Hotline" at 407-827-2253.  Personalized cake orders require a 48-hour advance notice.
