    We will be picked up by the disney van at Orlando airport at 10 am. As we will most likely be hungry, we made reservations in our hotel for lunch at 1:30 at Whispering Canyons. We thought we could relax some as check in is 3, can we use our dining plan.

    Hi Susan,

    Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of my family's favorite places to dine, and it's a great way to kick of your Disney vacation. You can certainly use your dining plan to eat. When you arrive at Wilderness Lodge head to the check in counter. Your room probably won't be ready, but you can still complete the entire check in process. A cast member will give you your Key to the World cards, so you'll have your park tickets, dining credits, and resort room key. Leave a phone number with the front desk, and someone will text you when your room is ready. In the meantime, you are free to dine wherever you wish or even head off to the parks.
