Where can we pick up our teens after a visit to the park? And how do they access this pick up location from the park?

Gloria! I am so glad you stopped by. I am so excited to answer your question, as I have fond memories of my own parents dropping me off and picking me up at Disneyland with my friends.

There are two Guest Pickup and Drop-Off Areas at the Disneyland Resort. The first is my preferred location on the Harbor Boulevard/East side of the resort. If you are driving, it is accessible from the southbound lane of Harbor Boulevard between South Manchester Avenue and Disney Way. When your teens leave the parks, they want to head toward Harbor Boulevard - away from Downtown Disney and to the bus pickup area. After passing through the awning by security, they should walk down the middle of the exit and it'll lead them to the Harbor Boulevard pickup area. There are usually signs directing Guests where to walk if they are going to the pickup area versus the Toy Story buses. Be sure to have them ask a Cast Member if they have any doubts! The walk from the theme park exit to the pickup area is about 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how fast they walk.

The second pick-up option is near the Downtown Disney District at the Simba Parking Lot. For this one, take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive and turn left at Downtown Drive. Then, follow the signs to the drop-off area. Be aware that standard parking rates may apply after the initial grace period, so the timing of your pickup is a bit more important. To meet you, your kids will want to head through the Downtown Disney District past The Lego Store and before Din Tai Fung. They will turn left before the Disneyland Hotel and head toward the Simba Parking Area. The walk from the theme parks is a bit longer for this pickup location - closer to 10-15 minutes depending on their pace.

I hope this information, Gloria! Your teens are really lucky to have you. I hope they enjoy their visit to The Happiest Place on Earth.

Please visit again with any other questions,
    Melissa
