Ahoy, Jeannette! I am thrilled you sailed by planDisney so we can help make your
Disney Fantasy a reality. First, I commend you on setting your sights on this gorgeous ship. The Fantasy has always held a very special place in my heart. Now, let's talk staterooms and get ready to turn those dreams into plans.
The
Fantasy has four major stateroom types. Within each, there are also different categories. I'll describe the most common types and categories to give you a general idea, but it is important to read the specifics when selecting your room, as there are a few exceptions.
- Inside staterooms have room for 3 or 4 Guests and feature a Magical Porthole with real-time ocean views and animated Disney characters. This is the most economical stateroom type and is perfect for people who are on the go for the entire cruise.
- Oceanview rooms are slightly larger than the Inside Staterooms. They are available as Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms (most sleep 4 with one in a bunk bed) and Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms, which may have extra space or a wall pull-down bed.
- Verandah staterooms have a balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy the views from the privacy of your room. It's perfect for late-night star gazing or early-morning coffee and relaxation. Like the Oceanview rooms, they are available as a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah or Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, which could have an extra in-wall bed for a 5th Guest or extended private verandah.
- Concierge staterooms have a private verandah and premium amenities, including access to the Concierge Lounge. You can book a Royal Suite, 1-Bedroom Suite or a Family Oceanview Stateroom.
Now, how do you pick one? When you book your Disney Cruise Line vacation, you not only select the itinerary, but in most cases, you choose the stateroom you will call home for your time at sea. The
Disney Fantasy has so many incredible 5-night itineraries this spring and throughout 2026. When you select "See Dates" from the list of possible cruises, you can see the starting price of each major stateroom type. When you pick your itinerary with a date that works for you, click "View Staterooms." Once you confirm your travel party, you will see a page with four tabs. Under each are the additional categories and starting prices. When you pick your stateroom category, you make additional choices, such as deck and location on the deck (forward, midship or aft). The next screen shows the available staterooms for your selected category and location. Click on a specific room for all of the details to appear. You can also click "Change Stateroom Type" if you want to explore other options.
Once you find your stateroom, you can follow the prompts to reserve your cruise on the most magical ship at sea. If the cruise is more than 120 days away, you will pay a small deposit to finalize your reservation. Then, it's time for the magical countdown to begin!
Jeannette, I hope this answers your question. If we can help with anything else, please come see us again at
planDisney. We're always on board to talk about Disney cruises!
