If you could only pick 3 sit down restaurants for dinner that cater to children and adults, what would they be?

Hi Laura!  Great question!  My top three picks would be: 'Ohana, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

I chose 'Ohana because it perfectly fits the criteria for catering to both children and adults.  The fare is served up family-style and seems to be a bit more appetizing for adults than it is to sometimes finicky kids.  However, the servers are more than happy to bring out a plate of mac'n'cheese or chicken fingers if the standard offerings don't make your kids want to dig in.  My husband and I love the food there and my kids love the activities.  They do periodic coconut races and other fun activities that keep even the littlest Mickey fans occupied.

I mention the 50's Prime Time Cafe because the servers there have always made our experience fun for the whole family.  My children have fond memories of the time we visited and our waitress nicknamed each member of our family and insisted on referring to us by our nicknames throughout the meal.  During one visit a waitress refused to let my dad order dessert until he'd finished all of his green beans and my girls still laugh about it.  This place appeals to adults as much as kids.  The food is good, portions are plentiful, and the decor will make you feel as if you've gone to grandma's for Sunday dinner.

And finally, the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  My girls insist on dining here during each and every trip.  They love being a part of all the antics that take place in the dining room, not only at our table, but at surrounding tables as well.  And for adults, the all-you-can-eat skillet is tough to beat.  Of course, the bottomless milkshakes are also popular with guests of all ages.

Maybe you'll give one of these a try during your next trip.  Have fun!
