Do you get to pick your room at the All Star Movies resort?

    Hi Kaitlin,

Thank you for taking the time to send your question to planDisney.  My daughter loves staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, the theming is super fun!

Once you have booked your Resort Hotel Room at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you will be able to begin Online Check-in, where guests have the option to request certain locations at their Resort Hotel.  Please keep in mind that if you would like a certain building, different room categories lend themselves to certain buildings.  From my experience, the buildings closest to Cinema Hall Lobby and World Premiere Food Court are preferred locations, which is an upgraded room category.  The buildings that are preferred locations are Toy Story, Fantasia and 101 Dalmatians.  If you have a very specific request, I would recommend calling the Resort Hotel at (407) 939-7000 with your request and a Cast Member will make a note of the request in your file.  Requests are first come first serve, and cannot be guaranteed.

It looks like you are planning your visit for November, Kaitlin, which happens to be when Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing.  I would highly recommend making time to visit this Special Event.  My family and I love walking around Epcot World Showcase and tasting all of the delicious food samples from around the world!

I hope my answer helped, Kaitlin.  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, we are always happy to help.
