Can you pick up park tickets in advance? We are thinking of staying at 2 resorts, 1st resort AoA for 3 nights, 2nd resort 6 at POFQ on DDP? Want to visit 2 parks on the 1st 2 days, w/ 5-day tix. Can we pick up park tix in advance w/ DDP? Thanks!

    Hi there Diane!

I know what you mean about trying to get your tickets in advance of your reservation time. We were able to pick up our park tickets three days in advance of our resort stay last year. It's a little tricky because some of the Cast Members are not entirely sure of how to go about it. If the Cast Member is unsure, have them talk to a supervisor, they should be able to help you out. Here is how the procedure works:

First, you have to pick the tickets up at a Guest Relations (Guest Services) window at one of the four Main Theme Parks or the one in Downtown Disney. Cast Members cannot do it at a resort because it's a totaly different ticket system. When you are asking the Cast member, tell them that you need an "Early Ticket Pickup."

Lastly, you will be able to pick up the tickets but you will not be able to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan until you have checked into Port Orleans French Quarter. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
