If you had to pick one, would you pick Boardwalk or Downtown Disney for a parent and 7 year old daughter to explore?

Hi Karla!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My 7 year old daughter and I love exploring Downtown Disney!  In fact, it is our first stop after checking in to our hotel.  Downtown Disney is so much fun.  If you are looking for a yummy place to lunch, stop by Earl of Sandwich.  This is our go to lunch spot.  The line is always long but don't let that stop you, it moves quickly.  After lunch we like to do some shopping.  The World Of Disney is the largest Disney Store in the world!  You will be able to find all sorts of fun goodies in there.  My daughter always loves to explore the store Once Upon A Toy.  Inside the store, there are tables set up with Mr. Potato Heads and accessories to play with which is a lot of fun.  After shopping, be sure to grab a sweet treat at Goofy's Candy Company.  There are so many delectable treats to choose from, you wont be able to pick just one.  Some of our favorites are the build-your-own rice crispy treats, the chocolate covered marshmallows on a Mickey Mouse silly straw and a Goofy's Glacier.

I think you ladies will be very happy exploring Downtown Disney for the day, I know we love it.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.  Have a magical day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
