Hi Allison!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Yes! it is possible to be pick up Guests at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, without having to park and be charged for parking. Just drive to the park entrance (as if you were heading for the parking lots) but tell the Cast Member on the gate that you are collecting your family/friends. They will direct you to a special drop-off/pick-up zone close to the park entrance, which is within easy walking distance of the entrance. This also applies for Guests visiting Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. The only difference is when you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park. All cars (with the exception of the
Minnie Van Service) are required to drop off/collect passengers at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where park guests will then take the Ferryboat or the Monorail to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park. It is worth noting that for all Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel,
Disney Transportation will be available to take you directly from the Resort hotels to the theme parks - boats, buses and monorails, depending on each Resort hotel's location - and if you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park, they will take you right up to the entrance of the park. When you arrive at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, advise the Cast Member on the gate that you are there for a dinner reservation. Parking is complimentary (typically for around three hours) at the Disney Resort hotels if you are dining there.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
