Bonjour Isabelle!
Thank you for sending us your magical question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad that you decided to stop by to send us your question, as I always get so excited to answer questions from fellow Canadians. Plus, your magical vacation is coming so soon! How excited are you? I know I would be thrilled, and there is no better way to get your warm weather in than by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
Now, let's talk about those tickets. When it comes to picking up tickets at a ticketing window, the name on the credit card must match the name on the ticket reservation. Indeed, if someone else purchased these tickets for you, they would have had the option to indicate that these tickets are a gift, which would have allowed you to pick them up in person. However, this does not mean that you will not be able to use your theme park tickets! Instead, you could purchase a
MagicBand and link it to your account or download your tickets into your digital wallet using the
Disney MagicMobile Service. Both services can be used on the
My Disney Experience mobile app by clicking on "My Profile" and "MagicBands & Cards" or on "Disney MagicMobile." If you would like to use the Disney MagicMobile Service, make sure you have an iPhone, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phone, and voilà! You will be able to tap into the parks and skip the line at the Ticketing window!
Once you are in the theme parks, there will be so many incredible offerings to discover! First, make sure to celebrate the
World's Most Magical Celebration by watching the 50th-anniversary cavalcade at the Magic Kingdom and trying various
celebratory treats around the Resort. I cannot wait to try the Tropical Serenade over at Aloha Isle Refreshments, a coconut soft-serve float with the Resort's famous POG juice and a pineapple cake pop. In my opinion, no Disney vacation is complete without a Dole Whip, so this treat is perfect for the occasion! However, if you are more of a Mickey Premium Bar lover, make sure to try one of the special hand-dipped bars only available for the 50th anniversary! Second, I highly suggest visiting the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival over at EPCOT. Not only is the view of the theme park covered in flowers gorgeous, but it offers so many unique activities that are not usually available. For example, I loved participating in the Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt around the World Showcase while also stopping by the
outdoor kitchens to try different food options! Plus, if you are a nature lover like me, you can even stop by Bambi's Butterfly House to look at beautiful plants and butterflies. Now that sounds like the perfect park day to me!
I hope this was helpful, Isabelle, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
