Hello Vicky,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Summer and your magical vacation will be here before you know it. As you are planning, be sure to mark your calendar with a
reminder to make your dining reservations 60 days prior to your check-in day.
Guests need to make their own arrangements for transportation from the airport to
Walt Disney World Resort, but there are several options. You are sure to find one that works best for your party.
Motorcoach bus services like Mears Connect and The Sunshine Flyer transport large groups of guests to the resort. This is often the most economical way to get to your hotel; however, you may have to make several stops before reaching your hotel. That's not necessarily a bad thing. If you've never been to Walt Disney World, it can be really fun to see all of the different resorts.
Ride share services like Uber and Lyft are quite popular for smaller groups. Because you are the only guests in the car, you will get to your hotel quickly. Keep in mind that right now, regular ride share services can only fit 3 passengers, and the XL size cars typically can only fit 5 because drivers cannot allow passengers to sit in the front seat. Traditional taxi services are also an option.
Private car services are sometimes an overlooked option. People often think that this type of service won't fit into their budget. They are more affordable than you may think, and they offer transportation for groups of all sizes.
Inside Walt Disney World,
transportation to the parks and other Disney Resort Hotels is complimentary.
Hope this helps get you started. Have a magical day!
