Can we still get physical tickets at Town Hall? We cannot do Magic Bands and don’t want to keep taking our phones out all day! Thanks!

Hi there, Anya! Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy—you’ve got a magical visit coming up in just a couple of short months, which means we better dive right into planning! I love your question, because it shows that you’re already thinking about how to enjoy your Disneyland Resort visit in the most magical and stress-free way.

While the Resort no longer issues traditional physical tickets, you can still bring a paper copy by printing your tickets at home before you arrive. Just open the confirmation email you received when you purchased your tickets and click “Access Your eTickets.” From there, you’ll see an option in the top right corner to “Print E-Tickets.” These printed tickets work beautifully at the entrance gates, and you may find that the printed copies are easier to manage than reaching for your phone.

A great way to keep those printed tickets safe and convenient is to slip them into a clear lanyard sleeve. This helps protect your ticket (especially on Tiana's Bayou Adventure!) and makes it easy to scan whenever you need it, whether you’re entering the park or hopping between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Since you mentioned not wanting to be on your phone much, don’t forget that the parks still provide complimentary paper maps near the entrances. These are not only nostalgic but also very handy for navigating attractions, finding dining locations, and even locating the nearest restrooms without needing to open the app.

That said, Anya, I do encourage you to download the Disneyland mobile app as a magical backup. Even if you don’t use it all day long, it can be a wonderful tool for conveniences like mobile ordering a meal, checking attraction wait times, or linking your tickets for easy access. Here’s a little pro tip: once your ticket is in the app, tap the menu (☰) button and select “My Tickets & Passes.” From there, you can take a screenshot of your ticket’s barcode and even set it as your phone’s home screen. That way, if you do decide to use your phone, your ticket is always right there—no fumbling through apps required.

Anya, with your printed tickets close at hand, a park map leading the way, and the app ready as your magical helper when you need it, you’ll be all set for a day full of Disney fun and memory-making—without missing a single moment of the magic.

    See ya real soon!
