Hi there, Leah!
Welcome to planDisney; thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
I’m thrilled to hear you’ll soon be off to adventure around Walt Disney World Resort. It truly is such an incredible place where we see some of our favorite stories come to life. I’m reminded each time of the magic that exists in this extraordinary place as I walk down Main Street, U.S.A., and watch the excitement as Guests catch their first glimpse of Cinderella Castle or see the bright bunches of balloons bobbing around. Although I’ve visited several times, my heart can’t help but feel full as I take it all in!
Leah, there are different options to gain access to the theme parks; you can choose the method that works best for you. I’m happy to tell you that you can absolutely get physical tickets to enter the theme parks. They would also act as your entry method into the Lightning Lane queue should you want to purchase the
Disney Genie+ service. You can pick up the physical
theme park tickets at any ticket booth window at the front of all
four theme parks. If you are around the area before your theme park visit, you can also stop by the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to pick up physical tickets. If you’re staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can request Disney’s Key to the World cards upon arrival at the front desk. These can act as your hotel room key and your theme park ticket!
Other ways of admission include the MagicBands series, like the
MagicBand+, which is interactive! That’s right, it will shine and vibrate with select nighttime spectaculars; it also allows you to unlock your Disney Resort room. Additionally, you can use the
Disney MagicMobile service. This is a feature of the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and works through an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android phone.
You can’t go wrong with any of these methods; whichever one you decide to go with is a win/win situation because you get to enter the magic!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Leah!
Aena
