Hiya Natalie,
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for bringing your question here today! With so much to experience during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, spending precious minutes waiting in line is decidedly less than magical.
Guests who selected their tickets to arrive via mail at checkout can have their tickets delivered to their homes. However, if you did not set this at checkout, there is not currently a way to change your delivery method afterward. You will have to pick up your Theme Park tickets at will call at the Theme Parks or
Disney Springs (which tends to be a smaller line). Now, if you really don’t want to stand in line, you have two additional alternatives. The first is a
MagicBand; with a MagicBand, all you need to do is ensure that your tickets and chosen MagicBand are linked to your My Disney Experience account, and you can head to the turnstiles. Just remember that each member of your party will need to have a MagicBand for this solution.
The other option is
MagicMobile, and it requires a mobile device. With MagicMobile, your mobile device becomes your ticket into Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. It is a contactless way to enter the parks, and it doesn’t require remembering to pack your MagicBand (or waiting in line). To set up MagicMobile, you need to open the
My Disney Experience app on your device and click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Once the subsequent screen loads = select the Disney MagicMobile tile. Link you already purchased Theme Park tickets to your Disney MagicMobile Pass and customize it. You will then add it to your mobile device wallet, and voila! The best part about this is that you can create MagicMobile passes for all linked Guests in your party (or they can create one using their own mobile device)!
I hope this was helpful, Natalie. Before I let you go, don’t forget to bring a portable charging bank to the parks to keep your device fully charged from rope drop to park close (especially if you are doing MagicMobile). Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
