Hi Gayle and
bienvenue to planDisney!
Your visit to
Disneyland Paris is getting super close - you must be so excited! I will actually be visiting myself, later this week, to experience all that
Disney Enchanted Christmas has to offer. If you ask me, it's the absolute best way to get into the Christmas spirit!
There is so much to see and do when visiting at this time of year but for us, we cannot wait to see Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade!, the snow falling on Main Street U.S.A. and our favourite Disney characters wearing their festive finest. We're also looking forward to sampling some of the delicious Christmas themed snacks on offer. Let's just say that there's a Minnie Mouse gingerbread biscuit and Chip and Dale hot chocolate, with my name on it!
Going back to your question, Gayle, if you have booked a
Hotel + Ticket package stay, you can absolutely still obtain a physical MagicPass for each member of your travel party on arrival at your
Disney Hotel. I have to admit that I am a bit old-school myself and much prefer having a physical card for each family member than having to mess around scanning 3, or 4, different QR codes, from my mobile phone, at the entrance to the Disney Parks.
Should you decide that you would like to use the digital MagicPasses, you will be able to access these from the Tickets & Passes section of the
Disneyland Paris Mobile App, 7 days prior to your arrival date. You can save each person's MagicPass to your Apple or Google Wallet and once you have done this, you can then send each individual MagicPass to the corresponding member of your travel party.
There is no need for other family members to be logging into your account on the Disneyland Paris Mobile App, on their own mobile phones, in order to access their MagicPass.
Obviously, the choice is yours but, depending on when/how you will arrive at Disneyland Paris, the digital MagicPasses can be really useful to have as they allow you to head straight to the Disney Parks without having to check-in at your Disney Hotel first. You simply scan your MagicPass QR code to use your park tickets, meal vouchers (if you have added a Meal Plan to your Hotel + Ticket package) and to access the car parks.
I hope that this information has been of use, Gayle. If we can help with any other last-minute questions you have about your upcoming visit, please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
