Lightning Lane Passes to maximize our time at the theme parks. Some of my favorite rides to use Lightning Lane Passes for are
Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
I’ve got some great news for you! You can certainly use physical gift cards to pay for Lightning Lane Passes on the
My Disney Experience app. First, you need to select the type of Lightning Lane Pass (either
Multi,
Single, or
Premier), the theme park, people in your party, date, time, and available ride or rides. Once at the checkout screen, tap on the arrow on the righthand side of any saved payment method you may have. A separate payment window will pop up with the option to “Add A Payment Method”. Once you tap on that, several options for various payments will be available, including “Disney Gift Card”. After you select that option, you have the ability to enter your physical gift card number and the Extended Account Number or EAN (the pin number associated with the gift card). From there, you should be all set!
Did you know that you can also
combine physical gift cards into one gift card? This makes it perfect for managing the many gift cards you may have received during the holidays! As a reminder, the maximum amount you can have on one gift card is $1000 and you can store up to six gift cards at a time.
