How many photos will the photo pass photographers take of your group at each picture spot? With their cameras vs your own? Trying to decide if I want to buy MM for our trip in 2 weeks. Will they take pics for the whole character greeting or just one?

Thank you so much Crystal for coming by with your question. I know how important those vacation pictures are. To be honest, they are my favorite souvenirs from my family’s Walt Disney World vacations. We can look at them for hours, bringing the magic of Walt Disney World right into my living room!

I have always thought how wonderful it was that cast members would snap a couple pictures for me with my own camera. With my camera the photographer wold take one or two shots of my family posing with the characters at the very end of our visit. They are some fantastic photos. However, the PhotoPass photographer catches the entire story. Our last trip in May we did purchase Memory Maker. I love those pictures so much, we will have Memory Maker for every trip going forward. For example, when our family met Anna the photographer took a lovely family picture with my camera in addition to his shots. Later, when hen I saw the PhotoPass pictures from that experience I could not stop giggling! The photographer caught my son pretending to be Olaf and Anna laughing and dancing with him. The PhotoPass photographer can capture your child’s grin as they fall into the arms of Mickey Mouse and the wonder in their eyes as they look up to their favorite princess for the first time. The PhotoPass pictures have made my photo album come alive beyond the group shots and obligatory ‘smile’. By purchasing Memory Maker, I don’t have to pick and choose which pictures I will order, because I get each and every one to keep and treasure forever - including the ride photos! The looks on my kids’ faces as they plummet down Splash Mountain is something I would not have without Memory Maker.

Crystal, thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories for me again! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have

Wishing your family a pixie dust filled vacation!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
