Photopass: I received a package in the mail that came with luggage tags, as well as a card for photopass. Can you please explain how it works? What happens if I lose the card during my trip? How does the photographer know without me providing this card?

    Hi Lesley!

During your Walt Disney World vacation, you will come across PhotoPass photographers.  It is complimentary to have your photo taken with them.  You hand over your card, they take your photos, scan the card and then hand it back.  When you get home from your vacation, you can view all of your photos online and purchase prints and other photo gifts.

A good tip with the PhotoPass cards is to take a photo of the back or write the number down somewhere so you have a record of the number on the card.  If you lose it, you can still access your photos with the number on the back.  If you do lose it, just simply as a PhotoPass photographer for another one.  You can add as many PhotoPass cards to your account as you want!  Just remember to make a record of that number.

If you are interested in a photo CD, which is a CD that will have ALL of the photos you took with a PhotoPass photographer that you can take to your local store and have prints made on your own, I highly suggest pre-purchasing it so you can save money.  It is currently $169.95 if purchased after your vacation, but if you pre-purchase it before your trip, you get $50 off.

    Have a magical day!
